The rose flower has such a ... smellIn this poem, a story I must ... are red, yellow, pink and ... ... lessons of life the rosebush can ... at all those shiny green leave The rose flower has such a wonderful smellIn this poem, a story I must tellRoses are red, yellow, pink and sometimes peachMany lessons of life the rosebush can teachLook at all those shiny green leavesWatch out for the thorns, roll down your sleevesSpring, summer, fall and winter are the seasonsThe Master grew the rosebush for many reasonsHe said the rose can brighten my child's dayWhen the skies are gloomy during the month of MayA sweet fragrance I'll make the rose exudeThe hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies I must includeThey will enjoy the roses as they blossum'Neath the rosebush, will be a bed for an opossumHe must have a shelter from the storms I sendHe can smell the roses until the storms endThe Master was pleased that He had made the roseHe sent a fragrant rain to give it a doseOf life giving water that made the rose growAnd blossum with pretty flowers like unto a rainbowWhen your life is troubled and filled with doubt and fearsLook at the dew on the roses, and remember Jesus' tearsAs they placed the crown of thorns upon His sweet headFather forgive them is the words He saidThe rose reminds us of this earthly lifeThe thorns amongst the beauty are as sharp as a knifeBut the knicks and cuts are worth the prizeBeautiful roses on the table, no matter what the size.Copyright 2004 Irvin L.
